So, where have I been lately? My little excursion into the world of cancer started nearly three years ago. Things were going quite well. Until they weren’t. So, I now have stage four metastatic squamous cell carcinoma. And it’s everywhere. Progressing rapidly. Today I found out I have twenty lesions in my brain. Great.
I don’t want to turn this site into a blog about my health journey. You Can Trust Him has always emphasized the goodness and sovereignty of God. That has not changed.
I wish I had the strength to write a well-researched, prayed over, biblically based post today. But I’m just not up to it. So, I will just say this:
God is good. He loves me. He has me in the hollow of His hand. He giveth more grace. I love Him more than ever. I will fight this illness, but I accept whatever He deems is best for me and my family.
God is good.
You Can Trust Him.
P.S. I will post updates as I am able.

Kim, “a well-researched, prayed over, biblically based post” is not necessary today. Your summary says it all, and for many of us (most of us?) is preferable. The older I get, the closer I get to the end, the more it seems I want people to “get to the point,” and you did that. God bless you and your family. I know He will reward you for your faith and faithfulness to Him.
Blessings,
Annie

Dearest Kim, I just prayed for you (twice) and shall continue doing so in the days ahead. You’re like an old dear friend and yet I’ve never met you. I know your heart and the journey you’ve been on. You ARE in the hollow of God’s hand. You ARE dearly loved by God and many of His children. And God IS indeed good. I DID ask for a healing or remission for you according to God’s will. I also asked God to cover you in His presence, to bath your heart and mind in His peace and to grant you an abundance of His grace, to His glory. If I could hug you I surely would. Love and continued prayers in Christ – Bruce

Sorry for multiple comments. My computer acted weird as I was posting the first one and I was afraid it didn’t go through. 🙂

Dear Kim, I praise the Lord that you can give witness of our Father’s goodness in the middle your current crisis. I am praying you will know the power of His presence more than ever and will witness of this as often as you are able. Much love, prayers, and blessings. Fran
