Books About Heaven

There are plenty of books out there that claim to know something about Heaven. Many of them are full of dangerous misinformation and deceptive fantasy. The Bible, however, gives us the Truth. It gives us all we need to know about our forever home. Still, we have questions, and that’s OK.

Without a doubt, God’s Word is the best place to dig for the answers we seek. And just digging has benefits that no other book can give. As we search the Scriptures, we can hear from our Lord on any page we turn to. Straight from His mind to our heart. Talk about a blessing!

Here are several books that seem to be reliable resources about Heaven. They are written by men and will therefore not be 100% error free – no book written by a finite person can be. But I find they strive to stick to the facts as presented in the Bible and are devoid of the popular notions about what happens to us when we leave this life and step into eternity. I hope you find them helpful.

My favorite book about Heaven. Here’s a review.

  1. Thanks for this reliable list, Kim. You’re absolutely correct about those books about Heaven which are dangerous … particularly the books written by those who claim to have visited there and have returned.
