The Crux of the Matter

IMG_8411

Without the Resurrection, if Jesus did not rise bodily from the dead, then our departed son is also dead, just dead – and the whole churchy Bible thing is a bogus fabrication.

Without a living Jesus, Hans is GONE.

If Jesus is not alive, then I have believed a lie and will never see our Hans again.  There will be no Heaven, no reunion, no peace, no answers, no forgiveness, no rewards for good and no justice dispensed for evil.  In fact, if God the Son is not Who He says He is, there is no evil – all those horrible things we blame God for are just the natural behaviors of the human animal.

Without a risen Savior, I have no purpose, no Truth, no hope, no Hans.

I just could not live like that.

Importance of the Resurrection

“The bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead is the crowning proof of Christianity. Everything else that was said or done by Christ and the apostles is secondary in importance to the resurrection. If the resurrection did not take place then Christianity is a false religion. If it did take place, then Christ is God and the Christian faith is absolute truth.”

  1. Kim, praise the Lord that the testimony of so many people gave evidence that He did indeed raise from the dead. So we can have confidence that we will see Him and the host of saints who have gone on before us, face to face. What a blessed day that will be, when we can praise Him together with them in heaven.
